Get pre-code without removing the radio.
Step 1: Find your Renault pre-code
Option 1:
Press 1 and 6 buttons simultaneously
Follow these steps to find your Renault pre-code:
Turn on your radio.
Hold buttons 1 and 6 together, then release. Your pre-code will appear on the screen.
It is important to note that the code will always be a letter followed by three numbers.
For example, if the code appears as "5241," it is actually "S241."
Note: if your radio is already locked, this method will not work. You\'ll need to use Option 2.
Option 2:
Remove the radio and read the serial number off the label
If option 1 didn't\'t work, you can also find your Renault pre-code on the label on the side of the stereo.
On the main screen, find the menu and select Remove Radio.
